Dementia Matters in Powys Creating Communities where Dementia Matters

There are 47 Dementia Meeting Centres across the UK - 4 of these are active in Powys! Working to a UK programme based on over 30 years of experience in the Netherlands, the Meeting Centres are for those living with mild to moderate Dementia (diagnosed or not) and their Carers. All Meeting Centres are welcoming and non judgemental.

Tuesdays: NEWTOWN Meeting Centres (fortnightly) 

Wednesdays: WELSHPOOL Meeting Centre (fortnightly)

Thursdays: BRECON Meeting Centre (weekly)

Attend in person for a day of support, information, advice, socialisation, activities and always a good lunch.

We can also support you to attend from the comfort of your own home, we provide equipment and help to enable you to log in to join in with the activities within the Hybrid Meeting Centres - contact us for further information.

Our wonderful volunteers are essential to our activities.  If you have a few hours to spare weekly or fortnightly, and would like to join us in any capacity, we would love to hear from you.
